This book is the on-level title in the 3.2 Book Club Teacher's Guide. Students will continue to think about the theme of conflict. How are conflicts best resolved? The Jake Drake series by Andrew Clements is a wonderful series for third-graders, not only for its readability but also for its humor. This book has some complexity to its structure with a flashback at the beginning.
